software current trend
Hi all, mostly system want to move to web based application so that easy to do e-business stuff. I believe US already booming about web-based application--- e-business. Let's equipe ourselves with this trend. DO you all think that web application more demand than window application? What is the pro and cons about this two diff based application?

Is true that web based or browser based application is everywhere. Everyone is enjoying the mobility and accessibility of these application. There is no installation needed on the client side, sometimes just extra plugin needed. It allow ppl all around the world to access the applications.
From my point of view, web based application is surely the future of software platform. But not neccessarily that everything should go for web based. Some of the application does not need to be web enabled, this could also due to the security challenge if we build a globally accessible web application. Another reason why some application should be web based is because of the connection speed through internet currently in the nation, but of course I think this will be enhanced and improved in the near future.
Personally I think the next trend is going to be mobile devices. More compact, easy to use, higher mobility applications will boomed, growing together with the devices, connectivity etc. Like I just heard Jackson told me that in Japan, they are launching 4G tecnology where in the convenient store, customer just scan the items with their handheld device, then the device will access to their fridge at home and check whether they still have any stock there in their fridge. Amazing!!!!
